2012 Centennial Knights Summer Youth Basketball Practice

 Centennial High School Knights Roundball Camp June 25-28, 2012

The Centennial Knights of the Roundball Basketball Practice is for 2nd -8th grade boys and girls who enjoy basketball and want to improve their skills while having a great time. Throughout this camp, the players will learn in an environment that focuses on teaching fundamentals and the basic skills of basketball, while also promoting fun and developing a love for the game. Players will be divided into age and ability groups focusing on basketball skills and concepts, while also having the opportunity to play in a competitive environment.
 
This camp is led by Centennial's Varsity basketball head coaches, Coach Eineker, Thomas Moede, and Scott Samach. They will be assisted by their coaching staffs and players from the Knights Varsity team.
 
When: June 25-28,  9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  
Where: Centennial High School Main Gym  
Who: Girls and Boys Rising 2nd-8th  Graders
Fee: $120

Basketball Banquet Information!

UPDATED 3-6-12

The banquet for the high school teams will be held on Monday, March, 12th 6:30pm to 9:00pm in the school cafeteria. Dinner will be a Mexican Fiesta catered in by Monterrey Mexican Restaurant.
Cost is $10 per adult and $5 for kids under 10 years of age. Players, Coaches, Trainers, and VIP's are FREE.
Coach Eineker and White MUST have your pre-registration form and money by March 8th!

Prices at the door are $15 per adult and $10 for children under 10 who have not pre-paid. NO EXCUSES!

If you have not paid off your fee balance, you will not be permitted to attend the banquet.  Please e-mail Lynda Barton bartonly@gmail.com

Season ends on Saturday night

The Marietta Blue Devils got the job done at Centennial on Saturday night. Rontrez Barclay scored all 8 of his points in the first half, and Marietta led at halftime 26-25. They began the third on a 10-0 run and the Knights attempted to weather the storm but could not recover completely. For Marietta, Dansby Swanson finished with 15 points, a few threes and lots of free throws at the end. Jaylen Hill scored 9 of his 13 in the fourth quarter, and Brandon Martin scored 10 of his 16 in the second half. For the Knights, Carlos Hamlett chipped in with 11 points, Charles Pack had 10 points 6 rebounds and 7 assists, and Michael Pack had 17 points including many keys threes in the fourth quarter. Marietta wins 65-57 and will travel to Berkmar for the second round matchup.
