The Varsity teams met last night at The Round Table in a region match up with the Alpharetta Raiders. Tuesday night was also Teacher Appreciation and White Out night. Big thanks to Miriam Davis, Joan Schimelman, Carole Veringa, and Kelli White for all their hard work putting together this event.
Thanks also to Centennial's new football Head Coach, Jeff Carlberg for bringing the team out. It was a great opportunity to introduce the new coach to the students and parents. We appreciate the support.
The Lady Knights fought hard to keep the score close but in the end were unable to hold off the offensive assault by the Lady Raiders losing 61-38. The Lady Knights are now 8-10 overall and with this four game losing streak fall to 2-5 in the region.
The boys started out slow against the visiting Raiders but battled back to edge a lead in the third quarter. The Raiders capitalized on turnovers to keep the game close to the end.
