Centennial moves to 2-1 in region play after defeat of Roswell
Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 12:06AM The Knights beat the Hornets on Friday night in a thriller, 79-72. Eric Lynch led the way with a 21 point effort off of the bench, and Charles Pack poured in a double-double (10 pts, 13 assists, 4 rebounds), his first of the year. Carlos Hamlett (10 pts) and Xavier Jackson (8 pts) also played well for the bench, playing key minutes in the fourth quarter and each hitting key three pointers. Starters Michael Pack (9 points) and Fineto Lunguana (16 pts) also came up huge, Fineto scoring 12 of his 16 in the first half of the game. The Knights were hitting shots at a good percentage, ending at 53% and hit their free throws at the end to fend off Roswell to a tune of 79-72. For Roswell, Matt Beneduci had 23 points, Sean Brennan had 16 points, and Zac Callen had 14 points.
